The roof sealant Isoroof PU Hybrid Vernilac is a new technology roof sealant made with highly elastic polyurethane acrylic water resins, which cross-link in the presence of solar UV radiation (UV Curable). It forms an impermeable membrane against moisture and stagnant water, offering superior and long-lasting protection for up to 15 years, depending on the number of layers and the type of reinforcement.
It acquires quick surface hardness and easy passability without sticking. Thanks to its special innovative composition, it prevents the accumulation of dust and dirt on the surface so that it does not get dirty easily, maintaining its whiteness and heat-reflective properties over time. It has strong adhesion, high elasticity, bridges small cracks and joints and offers excellent resistance to extreme weather conditions from +80°C to -25°C. It is a cold color of high reflectivity, with thermal insulating properties. It reduces the surface temperature of the roofs in the summer and keeps it watertight in the winter, improving the energy efficiency of the building. It maintains its elasticity, perfectly following contractions and expansions due to large or sudden temperature changes, preventing the appearance of cracks.
Isoroof PU Hybrid application
Stir well before use and periodically during application. Insulates and waterproofs horizontal and vertical external surfaces made of concrete, plaster, bricks, plasterboard, cement boards, etc. in new or older constructions. Apply with a brush, roller, airless gun, two hands crossed, paying particular attention to covering the hard-to-reach parts of the surface to avoid any possibility of moisture ingress. Maximum long-term protection (10-15 years) is ensured by applying at least 3 layers of 4kg/m² isoroof PU Hybrid and using 100gr/m² reinforcing polyester reinforcement. Do not apply the product in hot or frosty conditions (temperatures below 4°C or above 35°C.
Drying – Repainting: On touch 3-4 hours. Repaints after 12-24 hours. Times are extended in conditions of increased humidity or low temperatures
Performance: Approximately 1.2 – 1.4 m²/ lt, for the required total of 2 layers, on suitably prepared surfaces.
